The Brazilian star Offers Regret to Real Madrid Fans
Vinicius Jr has scored five goals in ten La Liga matches during the current campaign.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his conduct when substituted in the recent heated Clasico clash victory.
He was substituted in the 72nd minute and expressed his frustration by heading directly down the tunnel.
Vinicius later returned to the dugout and, after his club's narrow triumph, attempted to approach Barça's Lamine Yamal during unpleasant after the game exchanges.
"Today I want to say sorry to all the supporters for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico," the player posted on his account.
"In the same way as I have previously expressed during today's session, I would like to say sorry once more to my colleagues, the organization, and the club president.
"Occasionally emotion gets the better of me because I continuously aim to triumph and help my club. My winning mentality comes from the love I hold for this club and each thing it symbolizes."
Vinicius signed for Madrid from his former club in the year 2018 for £38.7m and has scored triple figures in numerous matches.
But his prospects in the Spanish capital is uncertain with speculation in recent months stating that the club would consider letting the young star depart if they got a good proposal.
When he was taken off on that day, broadcast footage from network Dazn picked him up saying: "Always me! I'm exiting the club! It's better if I depart, I'm leaving."
In his most recent post on the platform, Vinicius commented: "I promise to keep striving every second for the benefit of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the first day."
